Ras Rene born Rene Cisneros was raised in the Inland Empire, California. He was influenced by his older brothers who were into deejaying, break dancing, and graffiti. He couldn’t draw for shit so couldn’t be a graff writer. Didn’t have the hand, ear, eye coordination to be a DJ. Rapping was out of the question so he was left with break dancing which he put his heart and soul into. One day at a very young age hanging out with friends (Marquez family) he was introduced to underground Hip Hop. He never thought himself as a rapper but his friends were rapping and after his friend suggested he thought maybe he can do it too. He heard of underground Hip Hop which really opened his mind and was captivated by Rhyme Sayers, Buck 65, Benefit, Eminem, Mos Def, Talib and many others. After years of trying to be the best emcee he can be he learned to make beats from his friend Nocturne. Rene is now producing and writing his own music so be on the lookout and be ready because shit is going down!
